Project Superintendent to lead a studio installation project in Franklin, Tennessee from January 2026 to March 2027

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized audio, visual and lighting Project Superintendent to lead a studio installation project in Franklin, Tennessee from January 2026 to March 2027 ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional management skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding A/V/L project.

Duties

  • Superintendent will work alongside technicians to ensure proper scope of work is complete
  • Work cooperatively and effectively, verifying work being done by others is being completed and accurate to ensure work in our scope can take place on schedule
  • Quickly process information, prioritize job tasks, and meet event deadlines
  • Attend all onsite meetings with project construction team
  • Ensure all materials are onsite for ongoing and future work
  • Plan work and manage tasks for installation crew
  • Offer guidance and assistance to lower-level technicians when needed
  • Read and decipher blueprints and schematics
  • Work from elevated heights and lift heavy equipment
  • Pull wire and cable as needed
  • Solder and terminate cables and wires
  • Use basic hand and power tools properly and safely
  • Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and procedures by conducting regular site inspections
  • Other duties of a similar nature and level may also be assigned

Skills

  • Familiarity of equipment used typically in the recording industry. Including but not limited to. Neve, API, SSL, ATC, Avid etc.
  • Knowledge of Analog audio signal levels including, Mic, Line, Instrument act.
  • Knowledge of Digital audio signals including Dante, ADAT, MADI
  • Understanding of audio patch bays and the differences between No Normal, Half Normal, and Full Normal.
  • Considerable experience in audio, video, and lighting installation for larger projects
  • Considerable knowledge of low voltage electronics and basic construction skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external teams
  • Ability to work effectively as a team leader and run a crew of 8+ technicians.
  • Ability to direct and supervise the work of others
  • Willingness to work under and honor a NDA
  • Possess or obtain OSHA 30 Construction Safety certification
  • Possess or obtain a DOT commercial driver’s medical certificate
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the installation of A/V/L system
  • Ability to travel by vehicle or airplane anywhere in the United States
  • Ability to always pass background and drug tests for project security clearance
  • ESPA and/or CTS certification is desirable
